外交部針對受武漢肺炎（COVID-19）疫情影響而滯留我國的外籍人士，已分別在本（2020）年3月21日、4月17日及5月18日3次宣布延長在臺合法停留期間30天的措施。邇來國際疫情發展狀況雖有趨緩跡象，惟各國仍普遍維持邊境嚴管，國際航班亦未恢復正常，國際旅行難度仍高。外交部決定針對2020年3月21日（含）以前，以免簽證、落地簽證或持停留簽證入境我國，且停留期限尚未逾期之外籍人士，其在臺得停留期限，第4次自動延長30天（共計延長120天），毋需另行申請。惟在臺總停留天數不得超過180天（自入境隔日起算為首日）。此項措施將視疫情發展狀況檢討調整。
