依據動物保護法第14條之2規定，「非經中央主管機關許可，任何人不得製造、販賣、陳列或輸出入獸鋏。」爰未經中央主管機關許可，製造、販賣、陳列或輸出入獸鋏，依同法第30條第1項第8款規定，處新臺幣15,000至75,000元。 動物保護法施行細則第2條之1規定獸鋏指物保護法第14條之2規定，「非經中央主管機關許可，任何人不得製造、販賣、陳列或輸出入獸鋏。」爰未經中央主管機關許可，製造、販賣、陳列或輸出入獸鋏，依同法第30條第1項第8款規定，處新臺幣15,000至75,000元。 動物保護法施行細則第2條之1規定獸鋏指具強力彈簧之頜顎型或齒夾型結構，並以夾鉗方式捕捉動物之鋏狀器械，動保處先前已多次接獲檢舉，五金行或網路業者進口、展示或販售塑膠捕鼠夾，特以公函轉知各業者，未經許可，不得製造、販賣、陳列或輸出入獸鋏。
